Access to the venue: officially registered media will be granted access to the venue through the entrance at Daukanto street 3. All media representatives will go through the security check and will be asked to present a valid ID. We kindly ask media representatives to arrive at least 30 mins before the start of the program, late arrivals won’t be granted access.

Accreditation: Lithuanian and foreign media that has been accredited to the Parliament can enter the pressroom without any restrictions. There is also a possibility to issue one-day passes upon request of media agencies. Foreign media are allowed to enter with press accreditation cards issued by Lithuanian MFA, with the official delegation or with one-day passes.

COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS

PERMITS FOR FOREIGN JOURNALISTS

Due to Covid restrictions, the journalists from outside the European Union might need a Minister‘s Order to come to Lithuania.

The Minister’s Order IS NOT  needed if foreign journalists have been vaccinated with one of the approved vaccines, approved by the EU institutions ("COVID-19 Vaccine Janssen", "Comirnaty", "COVID-19 Vaccine Moderna", "Vaxzevria"), following the full vaccination schedule according to the authorities of the country they were vaccinated in are allowed to enter Lithuania without Minister‘s Order.  When entering Lithuania, please have a medical document, a country-specific vaccination certificate or an international vaccination certificate issued to a fully vaccinated person.  All the documents must be submitted in one of the official languages of the European Union.

The Minister‘s Order IS NOT needed for the members of the media who are the part of the official delegation

The Minister’s Order IS NEEDED  for the journalists from outside the European Union who are not vaccinated with one of the approved vaccines (see above), they must gain permission before travelling to Lithuania (Minister’s Order). We recommend to apply at least 4 (TBC)  days before your visit. Please send us your:  name and surname as it appears on the passport, date of birth, country of issue and  passport number, travel dates to media@urm.lt.
